  1. identify作不及物动词时,指心理上的“认同”,例:identify oneself with(认同于……);
  2. indentify在扩展其使用时,还可做反身动词,去表示一种非常亲密的联系的鉴定,常只适用于一些知名的社团协会等。
v.(动词)
  1. identify的基本意思是“认同”,即认为某事物等同于另一事物,这种同一性可以是真实的,也可以是想象的,也可以表示思想上的混乱或自我欺骗。引申可表示“同情”“支持”。
  2. identify既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,接名词或代词作宾语,也可接以“as+ n. ”作补足语的复合宾语; 用作不及物动词时常与with连用表示“同情…”。
  3. identify可用于被动结构。
