2.如果修饰的是动词,两者都可以使用,但right要放在动词之后,而rightly多放在动词之前。例如:

3.修饰介词短语时要用right,不用rightly。例如:
The nail went right through the plank.钉子恰好钉穿木板。
4.修饰另一个形容词或副词,要用right,不用rightly。而且,这样使用时, right要放在另一个副词之前。例如:
The policeman has knocked the blackguard right out.民警已把这个坏蛋打倒在地。
