  1. choice用作可数名词指“选择,挑选”的行为,强调自由选择,不论选择的方式或多少,可指选择一种行为或机会,也可指在一堆东西中挑选其精华,还可指从众多候选者中挑选入选者。choice有时还可指“供选择或被选择的”人或物,这时单数形式可表示复数意义。
  2. choice还可作“选择权〔能力〕”解,此时是不可数名词。
  3. 表示“在A和B之间作选择”,可用choice between A and B,也可用choice of A or B。用choice between A and B时,choice前可用定冠词,也可用不定冠词; 用choice of A or B时,choice前只能用定冠词。
