  1. similar的意思是“相似的,类似的”,指两者之间部分或大部分相似,常用作表语或定语。similar作形状相同但大小不同的“相似的”解时,无比较级和最高级。
  2. similar后跟介词to表示“与…相像”; 跟in表示“在…方面相像”。similar to短语在句中可用作表语或定语,作定语时可后置。
  3. 在肯定句中,similar之前不可用exactly来修饰。但当similar以否定形式出现时,却能用exactly来修饰。
