  1. will属于表动词语态的助动词,类似于may,might等,没有wills这一动词的单数形式的说法;
  2. Shall同will的比较:通常,人们习惯将should当做shall,而将would当做will。

I shall be twenty next Sunday.

I shall tell you this evening.

Shall I be too old to work at eighty?

You shall never see her again.

    I will work hard.

Shall you be away for long?
Will you be away for long?
Shall you ...

    Will we …?

    You will be better tomorrow.
It will be fine very soon.

You will send in your report on Thursday.
All the members will send in their reports on Thursday.

Whatever you may say, things of this kind will go on.

Will you tell me more about him?

You will sit here for hours saying nothing.
