I appeal to you to say whether I am not right.

He is going to appeal against the decision.

The boy appealed to his mother to tell him what to do.
The boy appealed to his mother to know what to do.
    第一句的to tell是appealed to的表语,属于his mother,而第二句的to know表示目的,属于the boy。

plead appeal beg petition entreat pray
