  1. real可用于有形的人和物,也可用于无形的人和物,可指实际存在的,是自然生成的; 也可表示“名”与“实”相符; 在表示艺术塑造的与实际存在的很相像时可译作“逼真的”; 用于饮料或食品时,是指以最可靠的传统方式制作的,纯正的、地道的; 在哲学里指物质世界里的客观存在; 在经济学里指按实际购买能力计算是“实际的”。
  2. real在句中可用于加强语气,作“完全的,非常的”解,可修饰名词。
  3. real是绝对形容词,没有比较级和最高级形式。
  4. 在美国俗语中, for real可以当形容词用,等于real,也可以当作副词用,等于really。例如:He couldn't believe their threats were for real.他难以相信他们的威胁是真的。They were fighting for real.他们是真打。
