In this thesis, a new concept with passive moderator system for TACR isdesigned, and is assessed through analyzing a loss of coolant flow accident(LOFA)by CATHENA Mod3.5c/Rev1, a thermalhydraulic computer codedeveloped by AECL for CANDU.
