Cyclopentylidenecyclopentanone and 2-cyclopentylcyclopentanone respectively have been reduced on Ni, cu/Al_2O_3 catalyst in pipe reactor, yeilded a mixture of cis / trans 2-cyclopentyl-cyclopentanol.
