A new automatic meter reading system based on GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) is presented to meet the demands for reliability and real time performance of data communication, in which the bottleneck of system communication is overcome.

• 针对集中式抄表系统对数据传输可靠性和实时性的要求,提出并设计了一种基于通用无线分组业务GPRS(GeneralPacketRadioService)技术的集中式数字抄表系统,克服了低压抄表系统中通信介质的瓶颈问题。
