In this dissertation topics of optimal meter placement and transaction-based loss allocation in deregulated power system operation are investigated. 電力系統發生緊急事故時，調度人員常依據保護電驛及斷路器動作的記錄資料，來判斷系統發生故障的區域與元件，建立一套完整的故障偵測與複電系統，不僅可以增加調度人員處理與排除故障的能力，並可以快速得知整個系統的複電策略，以縮短停電時間。
