As a result,the short hole shrinkage method with flat bottom structure was employed to mine the stope firstly,then stoping ore pillar by medium length hole caving method. 后溝金礦採用平底結構淺孔留礦法先採礦房，後用中深孔崩落法回採礦柱，經兩年多的生產實踐，取得較好的技術經濟指標。
The results of numerical simulation showed that if the floor pillar is mined partially, the stress in pillars will sharply increase, so integral stability of mine may weaken. 模擬結果表明，部分底柱抽采后，起關鍵支撐作用的底板橫撐和礦柱中的應力有顯著地變化，這可能破壞礦山整體穩定性。
