We report on a patient with the habit of glue sniffing who presented with hypokalemic paralysis.Glue had been widely used in the world and toluene isa its major composition.

• 摘要我们报告一位吸食强力胶而产生急性低血钾瘫痪之病患，强力胶普遍用于工业界，主要成份是甲苯，甲苯在肝中代谢成马尿酸而增加中氢离子的浓度，吸食强力胶最常发生之酸碱不平衡睼高血气代谢性酸中毒。
