They are located together with ophiolite of the Ondor Sum Group of Inner Mongolia and the Seluohe Group of Jilin on the northern margin of the North China paleocontinental block .

• 与内蒙古温都尔庙群蛇绿岩，吉林色洛河群同时位于古华北陆块北缘，为陆缘活动带向古华北陆块俯冲形成。这表明古华北陆块北缘造山带在中晚元古代即已出现。
