The present paper summarizes the stratigraphic and palaeontological features of the Jurassic System in the petroliferous region of the Zhongyuan Oilfield.

• 摘要综述中原油气区侏罗系地层古生物特征，提出该区存在下侏罗统-中侏罗统，未确证存在上侏罗统，过去所称上侏罗统-下白垩统归入下白垩统为宜。
