The mean ascorbic acid content in the Chinese gooseberry juice was 264 mg/100ml, range from 215.4 to 384.6 mg/100ml, and it was 37.0mg/100ml in lemon juice from 21.2 to 67.5 mg/100ml. It was analysed by HPLC.
