The contents of metal elements in silk gland and silk fiber of B. mori silkworm have been detailedly analyzed by proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE), inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS) and atomic adsorption spectroscopy (AAS).
