The column, packed with 5% OV-225 on Aw-DMCS-Chromosorb W(80/100 mesh), is used satisfactorily for separating and identifying alditol acetate derivatives of the seven sugars (L-arabinose, D-galactose, D-glucose, D-mannose, D-ribose, L=rhamnose).
