Similar to the other orebodies lying along the northwest tectonic belt, the Xiongcun orebody is a porphyry Cu (Au) deposit consisting of a hornblende quartz diorite complex.

• 雄村铜（金）矿与矿区北西向构造带上多处矿体的特征相似，为一由角闪石石英闪长玢岩杂岩体侵入而形成的斑岩型铜（金）矿床。
