Link based ranking algorithms in hyperlinked environment are discussed in this paper. The comparison and analysis of PageRank and HITS shows that PageRank is more suitable to the server of a search engine while HITS to the client.

• 介绍超链接环境下基于链接的网页排序算法 ,比较和分析了 Page Rank算法和 HITS算法 ,指出了 Page Rank算法更适合于搜索引擎的服务器端 ,而 HITS算法更适合于搜索引擎的客户端。
