It is pointed out that a basic assumption that stochastic streamflow process can be treated as a stationary process with yearly cycle is always adopted in respect to streamflow stochastic description.

• 本文针对水库优化调度中的径流随机描述问题,讨论了径流随机过程分布函数为周期函数的基本假设,指出了径流随机描述除了马氏过程和独立随机序列的二种简化类型外,还可以试用兼有这二种描述的混合随机描述。
