In order to study the cardiovascular effect of NO in conscious rats, sodium nitroprusside(SNP), the precursor of NO( L Arginine, Arg Arg) and one of the inhibitor of NOS ( N G nitro L arginine, NNLA) were intracerebroventricularly(icv) injected.
