If the packing still exothermic, stop the pump to cool off, then adjust gland nuts and loosen packing to slightly increase leakage.Run the pump again and rectify gland nuts to reduce leakage.

• 如果填料仍继续发热，则停泵，使之冷却，调整填料压盖螺母，放松填料，使泄漏量稍增大，重新开泵，待填料与轴套磨合后，再调整压盖螺母，减少泄漏量。
