Genetic diversity of high molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW GS) encoded by the Glu A1 and Glu B1 loci were investigated using one dimensional sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in 172 wild emmer from Israel.
