Conclusion T lymphocytes of SARS decreased obviously but could be resumed , detection of amounts of T4 and T8 cells can provide an early diagnosis method to SARS.

• 与HIV、CMV、EBV感染者相比,SARS病人的T_4细胞和T_8细胞数量也均显著减少,而T_8细胞数量的减少则更为严重; 与正常人相比,HIV感染者T_4细胞数量也均显著减少,但HIV、CMV、EBV感染者的T_8细胞数量均显著增加。
