Both selenium and vitamin E deficieny increased the DM susceptibility of the rats. Significant decrease of CP level in serum as well as in islets and increase of blood glucose and the mortatily of DM rats were confirmed.

• 膳食低 Se、低 VE可明显增加大鼠 DM易感性 ,表现为血清 C肽水平和胰岛 C肽分泌贮备显著降低 ,血糖明显升高 ,并可显著增加 DM大鼠死亡率。
