Bisphenol-A polyarylesters with chloro substituted mesogens were synthesised by interfacial polycondensation of terepththaloyl chloride(TPC),2,5-dichloroteraphthaloyl chloride(DCC)and bisphenol-A (BPA) in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst.
